01About

Built by an athlete. For athletes.

Extra Time PT is led by Bailey Smith — a coach who trains, competes and understands the physical demands athletes face away from the gym.

02My story

Real training. Real competition.

My journey through Brighton & Hove Albion FC gave me first-hand experience of the standards, professionalism and dedication required to perform at the highest level. Now playing for Worthing FC in the National League, I continue to apply those principles as an athlete while helping others reach their own potential through structured, performance-driven coaching.

03Coaching philosophy

Purpose behind every session.

  • Every programme should have a clear purpose and direction
  • Gym training must support sporting performance rather than compete with it
  • Training should account for fixtures, fatigue, recovery and individual needs
  • Progress comes through consistency, feedback and intelligent progression
  • Athletes need coaching, not simply a list of exercises to complete
